Police catch two speeding drivers in two nights
Each was stopped on the South Eastern Freeway at Monarto South.
A Murray Bridge man has been fined $1718 after being caught allegedly speeding on the South Eastern Freeway on Saturday night.
Police allege the 58-year-old's Ford sedan was recorded at 159 kilometres per hour in the 110 zone at Monarto South around 8pm.
As well as fining him, they disqualified him from driving for six months.
At 7.15pm the following night, officers allegedly caught another man travelling at 142km/h in the same area, in a Toyota station wagon.
The 26-year-old P-plater from Elizabeth Grove was fined a total of $1967 for exceeding the speed limit and breaching his licence conditions.
