A 46-year-old Murray Bridge man nose he’s in trouble after being arrested for the theft of a dozen bottles of perfume.

Around 9am on Tuesday, a man allegedly visited a chemist on Adelaide Road, picked up 13 bottles of perfume – worth about $450 – and left without paying.

The perfumes stolen included Juicy Couture and Valentino fragrances worth upwards of $49 per bottle.

After an investigation, police visited the 46-year-old’s home and charged him with the theft.

He was granted bail and will face Murray Bridge Magistrates Court in February.

Disqualified driver loses her car for 28 days

Meanwhile, a 41-year-old Murray Bridge woman has had her car impounded after allegedly being caught driving without a valid licence.

The police who stopped her Ford Territory on Bywaters Road just after midnight on Wednesday allegedly found her licence had been disqualified.

The woman was granted bail and will face court in the new year.
