Wellington ferry will close for four hours this Wednesday

Its cables are due to be replaced on October 27, the Department for Infrastructure and Transport says.

The Wellington ferry will be closed for repairs for four hours this Wednesday, October 27, the Department for Infrastructure and Transport has announced.

Anyone who needs to cross the River Murray between 10am and 2pm will need to travel upstream to the Tailem Bend-Jervois ferry.

The Wellington ferry is due to have its cables replaced.

The department thanked motorists for their patience.
