This week, Rhyme, Grind and Climb your way to fun, enjoy autos of various types at Autofest, and paint a masterpiece while enjoying a cold glass of bubbly.

One of Murray Bridge’s biggest annual youth events, Rhyme, Grind and Climb, will be held at Pine Park from 4pm to 8pm on Saturday.

Now in its fifth year, the event allows youth in the Murray Bridge area to experience hip-hop, skating and rock climbing – thus, rhyme, grind and climb.

Apart from these activities, the free event will include a live mural painting, face painting, scooter workshops, live aerosol art and more.

Murray Bridge Magic: All Pine Park activities for Friday are cancelled due to the high temperatures forecast.

Murray Bridge Autofest: 5.30pm at Murray Bridge Speedway, Kennett Road. Celebrate the joy of cars and other vehicles. Autofest’s regular events such as burnouts, autokana, Go to Whoa and Grab a Flag will be run, and there will be an onsite bar, catering and entertainment. The Autofest Show n Shine display will take place at Sturt Reserve on the Saturday morning, and street machines, hot rods, muscle cars, street cars, show cars, classic cars, motorcyles, trucks, tractors and boats are all welcome. Football darts: 12pm to 4pm at the Swimming Centre, Murray Bridge. Join in this fun and quirky event as part of the Magic Murray Bridge program.

Murray Bridge Racing Club race day: 2.30pm to 9pm at Murray Bridge Racing Club, Gifford Hill. Enjoy a summer’s day with some quality racing. Gates open at 2.30 pm, the first race is at 3.20 pm, and the last race is at 8 pm. Buy tickets at Moshtix.

Paint + Sip: Watercolour Creations: 6.30pm to 9pm at Murray Bridge Regional Gallery, 27 Sixth Street, Murray Bridge. Enjoy a few drinks with friends at this 18+ event. Arts officer Chelsea Budarick teaches you watercolour techniques to create your own colour-blocked artwork to take home. Enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly or soft drink upon arrival.
