Wellington Progress Association’s biggest annual fundraiser has again drawn a crowd over the October long weekend.
Hundreds stopped by the Wellington Hall on Sunday for the town’s annual strawberry fete: an excuse to peruse market stalls and socialise while munching on a few strawberries, served with cream, ice cream or on top of a pavlova.
Twenty or so raffle prizes were handed out on the day, including a skydiving voucher.
