Netball South Australia has announced that the Murraylands will be the third stop for its Netball on the Road program in August.

The program will run from Wednesday, August 3 to Sunday, August 7, spanning Murray Bridge to Lameroo.

Over the five days, free sessions will be targeted at players, coaches, umpires and administrators.

Netball South Australia’s general manager of netball, Erin Haines, said the organisation was eager to bring the program to the region.

“Reconnecting with our netball communities and delivering valuable education and wellbeing tools to support them has been paramount to Netball SA,” Ms Haines said.

“We’ve seen strong engagement from each region, and we look forward to sharing the program with the Murraylands next month.”

So far, the program has visited the state’s South East, is currently in the Eyre Peninsula, and will travel to the Lower North region in mid-August.

Although many of the events will be open to all, some will only be open to Netball SA members: players and officials who registered with an affiliated club, such as those in the River Murray and Murray Bridge associations, for the 2022 season.
