Murray Bridge Social Garden Group members have had a bus trip to Government House.
Thirty-five gardeners enjoyed a beautiful sunny day on May 3.
Guides from the Botanic Gardens grouped them into three groups for an extensive tour of the beautiful gardens.
After this members enjoyed a picnic lunch on the lawns.
The Governor, Frances Adamson, came over to chat and had her photo taken with the group.
A most enlightened and great day was had by all.

Meanwhile, members met at Murray Bridge Library on April 22 to conduct a holiday workshop for schoolchildren, making “bug homes”.
Twenty-two children and some of their brothers, sisters and parents assembled the homes and then decorated them with bees and butterflies.
Garden group members supplied all the materials and assisted the children with the construction.
A great morning was enjoyed by all.
The social garden group’s next meeting will be held on June 7 at the Johnstone Park clubrooms.
The guest speaker will be Angela from Stubby Tubby, on cacti and succulents.
The meeting will have a changed starting time of 9.45am, not 10am; but will still offer good fun, good fellowship and good gardening.
All will be welcome.
