The Ode of Remembrance will be heard loudly and clearly in Murray Bridge for years to come, thanks to a $9000 grant from Veterans SA.

Murray Bridge RSL will use the funds to buy a new PA system for use at Anzac Day services and other events.

The local sub-branch was one of 10 organisations to receive a grant from the state government-funded Anzac Day Commemoration Fund.

Veterans Affairs Minister Geoff Brock hoped the funding would help community groups around the state preserve South Australia’s military history and educate the public about the contributions and sacrifices made by veterans over the years.
