Fairbairn brothers remain country lads as their comedy career skips ahead
The global success of Murray Bridge comedy YouTubers Lachlan and Jaxon Fairbairn continues to explode, but they’ve stayed true to their country roots.
The global success of Murray Bridge comedy YouTubers Lachlan and Jaxon Fairbairn continues to explode, but they’ve stayed true to their country roots.
The Fairbairn Films YouTube channel has 1.7 million subscribers and their videos have been viewed more than 400 million times.
But in a Sydney Morning Herald interview in 2020, Lachlan said his and his brother’s goal was to “increase the production values” of their stupidly successful home-made YouTube videos.
That goal will now become a reality, as the brothers have been named among six YouTube video-makers to win funding from Screen Australia and YouTube’s Skip Ahead initiative.
