Driver tests positive for meth on Palmer road

Meanwhile, police stopped several drivers doing the wrong thing over the weekend.

A 30-year-old woman from Davoren Park allegedly tested positive for methamphetamine after being pulled over on Reedy Creek Road at Pallamana at 3pm last Thursday.

She may be charged if a lab analysis of the test confirms the positive result.

Also in trouble is a 68-year-old man who will face a drink driving offence in court after being breath-tested in Murray Bridge.

He allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.093, almost double the legal limit, after being pulled over on Ridge Road at 8.20pm on Sunday.

Finally, two drivers have had their cars impounded for 28 days and will face court after allegedly being caught driving while disqualified.

One was a 45-year-old Tailem Bend woman stopped on Maurice Road, Murray Bridge at 1.30am on Sunday, and the other a 35-year-old Davoren Park man pulled over on the Karoonda Highway at Burdett at 5.25pm.
