Adelaide Road store suffers second jewellery theft in two months

Police are investigating the second major jewellery theft at a Murray Bridge store in as many months.

Between 4.30pm and 5pm last Tuesday, August 25, someone took nine ladies’ rings from a display cabinet at the store on Adelaide Road.

Each of the rings appeared to be gold, with various settings of diamonds or zirconia.

The same store had previously fallen victim to thieves on July 26, when two men who broke in after hours and stole thousands of dollars worth of jewellery were caught on CCTV.

Police have asked anyone with information about either theft to contact Crime Stoppers.

People who provide such information can choose to remain anonymous.
