Imperials’ seven-season run at the top of the River Murray Netball Association has come to an end.

Blue hearts were broken as Mypolonga pulled off a momentous 49-35 win in Saturday’s grand final.

Goal shooter Kara Martin was named best on court at Meningie.

The club had mixed results in the other grades, with two more premierships from eight grand final appearances.

Imperials came away with four premiership wins under the association’s new structure.

Ramblers won two and Mannum and Jervois one each.
