This sponsored post is brought to you by Unity College.
Unity College will bring career options straight to Murraylands residents next Wednesday with its annual Future Directions Expo.
Not held since 2019 due to COVID-19 restrictions, this will be the second time the event has run.
Along with Unity College students and families, the expo will be open to the wider Murraylands community and will bring together a range of exhibitors including:
- tertiary education providers such as universities and TAFE
- apprenticeship, traineeship and recruitment providers
- local industries with potential employment opportunities
āThe Future Directions Expo will be a great chance for those who will soon graduate, those looking for a change in career path or anyone who would just like an opportunity to see what Unity is about to speak with exhibitors from a range of future pathways organisations,ā director of people, culture and community Wayne Gehling said.
āWe are excited to provide this event locally to give Murraylands residents access to the best information Ā possible without the need to travel out of the region.
āWith the impact of COVID over the past couple of years, events like this have been restricted to online or not happened at all.
āTo be able to get back to face-to-face interaction is exciting.ā
Along with the chance to speak with exhibitors directly, there will be opportunities to attend information sessions with tertiary education providers and take campus tours, and food and drinks will be available to purchase.
The expo will be held between 4pm and 7pm next Wednesday, August 10 at the CommUnity Stadium at Unity Collegeās senior campus on Owl Drive, Murray Bridge.
