Murray Bridge swimming pool will open this weekend
This summer’s swimming season will run from October 28, 2023 to April 2, 2024.
Children of the Murraylands, your time has come.
Murray Bridge Swimming Centre will open its doors for the summer this Saturday, October 28.
To celebrate, local service clubs will host a poolside barbecue from 11am to 2pm, with sausages available for a gold coin donation.
For the first time since COVID-19, you won’t even need to book ahead, either.
Entry fees will increase by 50 cents this summer, to $7.50 for general admission and $5.50 for children aged 3-12.
Younger children and people aged 65 and over will still be able to get in for free.
The pool will be open from 6.30am-7pm on weekdays and 9am-6pm on weekends and public holidays.
Royal Life Saving SA will offer a five-day holiday swim program from December 18-22; and a Vacswim program, teaching children aged 3-12 how to stay safe in the water, will be presented from January 15-19.
This summer’s Murray Bridge swimming season will finish on April 2, 2024, a week before the end of term one.
