Murray Bridge Riverfront Christmas Festival will extend over two days in 2021
Here's how to register a float in the parade, sign up as a sponsor or just come along on November 19 and 20.

The Murray Bridge Riverfront Christmas Festival will return this November – and it will be bigger than ever.
Business Murray Bridge and AOK Events, supported by the Rural City of Murray Bridge and local business sponsors, can confirm that this year’s event – including the popular Christmas parade – will go ahead on November 19-20, 2021 at Sturt Reserve.
This year’s festival will kick off between 5 and 9pm on the Friday night with trade stalls, food, rides and live entertainment, and continue from 11am on the Saturday.
The traditional Christmas parade will complete a lap of Sturt Reserve from 5pm on the Saturday, before a fireworks display brings the event to a close at 9pm.
Mayor Brenton Lewis said he looked forward to the return of one of Murray Bridge’s most popular events, a year after its 2020 edition had to be cancelled at the last minute due to COVID-19.
“It’s really great that once again we’ll be able to run a magnificent, well supported community event,” he said.
“The parade is a paramount event in Murray Bridge.
“There have been some changes this year, with the opportunity on the Friday night for families and community members to get involved, followed up on Saturday with the parade and fireworks display.
“Make it yours – get along and enjoy yourself.”

The Murray Bridge Riverfront Christmas Festival will be a free community event, though a capacity limit will apply and tickets will be required in keeping with SA Health COVID-safe requirements.
Information about ticketing will be released via the Murray Bridge Riverfront Christmas Festival Facebook page and local media as soon as it becomes available.
The festival would not be possible without the support of dedicated and generous sponsors.
To help make this community event happen, and promote your business to the thousands of people who will attend, email info@aokevents.com.au.
Organisations and community groups interested in entering a display in the parade can register their details using an online form – click here.
Participation will, of course, be free.
