A Murray Bridge man is $100,000 richer after his number came up in a lottery draw on Monday.

The anonymous man won first prize in the daily Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw after buying a ticket online.

He remained unaware until an official from the Lott phoned him with the good news.

“I’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries for a long time,” he said.

“This is great – my partner and I have worked hard our whole lives.

“I’m not sure what we’ll do with it, but I think we’ll probably put it towards our new house.

“We may even have a little celebration.”

The Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw is limited to 270,000 tickets each day.

For what it’s worth – quite a bit, as it turns out – the winner’s ticket was number 61,792.
