Murray Bridge Glows will return in August
Murray Bridge Glows will return to Diamond Park this winter, transforming the heart of Murray Bridge into a spectacular celebration of fire and light.
From 5.30pm to 9.30pm on Saturday, August 29, locals and visitors alike are invited to farewell winter and welcome spring with a free, family-friendly event featuring dazzling fire and light displays, immersive entertainment and glowing experiences for all ages.
Diamond Park will come alive with spectacular fire performers, glowing installations, live entertainment, horse-and-carriage rides, fire pits and the ever-popular silent disco, creating a magical atmosphere for the whole community to enjoy.
This year's event will again have a fire and light theme.
Whether you're gathering around the warmth of the fire, taking in the vibrant performances or dancing under the stars, Murray Bridge Glows will offer something for everyone.
A variety of food and beverages will be available on site, while nearby Bridge Street eateries and businesses will also be open, giving visitors even more opportunities to enjoy a night out in the heart of Murray Bridge.
A silent disco will once again feature haptic vests, offering another way to experience the music through vibrations so everyone can enjoy the atmosphere alongside family and friends and an accessibility guide will also be available before the event to help visitors plan their experience.
Mayor Wayne Thorley said Murray Bridge Glows continued to showcase the community spirit and vibrancy of the rural city.
"Murray Bridge Glows has become one of our signature community events and a wonderful opportunity for residents and visitors to come together and celebrate the changing seasons," he said.
"Events like Glows help activate our city, support local businesses, and create memorable experiences that bring people together and we encourage everyone to make the most of the evening by exploring Bridge Street and supporting our local businesses."
