Christmas season is upon us … and so is summer, if Saturday’s weather is anything to go by.
Thousands of people have turned out for Murray Bridge’s Christmas parade and festival over the weekend despite the temperature pushing 40 at the time Santa came to town.
The cancellation of the evening’s fireworks didn’t deter the crowd from hanging around at Sturt Reserve, where food vendors, stallholders, ride operators and sideshows offered all kinds of distractions from the heat.
