Five new members were inducted into the Murray Bridge men's Probus club at this months meeting, making the club future look brighter.

This story was contributed by Bob England, member of Murray Bridge Men's Probus club.
Probus clubs have been in Australia for almost 50 years.
Murray Bridge Men's Probus has served retired men in Murray Bridge and surrounds for most of that time.
Current President, Barry Dillon, indicated confidence in the years ahead as he inducted new members at their recent monthly meeting.
"The continued vitality of the club (is) assured," Mr Dillon said.
The new members that were inducted include Darryl Webb, John Whimpress, Garry Hansen, Claude Minge and Garry Fischer.

In welcoming them, President Dillon assured them that they would find meetings often interesting and they would appreciate the social opportunities afforded.
He reminded the meeting that Probus was not a service club and that fund raising did not occur but there are always opportunities for new experiences and personal growth.
The recent meeting included a presentation from Wayne Hollit formerly in SA Water and guest speaker Graham Edwards illustrating flooding in the Lake Eyre region.
Gatherings are held every second Thursday of the month at the Murray Bridge RSL.
