This second-year electrical apprentice is quickly gaining experience on domestic and industrial jobs around Murray Bridge, and he’s ready to help you out.

This sponsored story is brought to you by Ahrns Electrical.
The next time you call an electrician, it might be Danny Ashton who comes to help you out.
Danny is a second-year apprentice with Ahrns Electrical, in Murray Bridge, and he’s making the most of every moment on his professional journey.
Having grown up at Tailem Bend and gone to Murray Bridge High School, he had always hoped to end up in a trade.
Electrical work appealed to him because it seemed like there would be so much to learn.
His first job was in manufactuing, but when an opportunity came up to join the Ahrns Electrical team a bit over a year ago, he jumped at it.
These days he does a mix of domestic work – installing power points and lights for renovations or new builds – and bigger industrial jobs.
“The company I came from … it has been cool to go back there and work on some of the bigger machines,” he says.
“The bigger jobs are fun, but even with little jobs, it’s cool to go home afterwards and figure out how to do things for yourself.
“I’m still pretty new, so I’m still learning all I can at this point.”

Don’t tell anyone, but Danny’s boss, Tristan Ahrns, kind of wishes he could clone the guy.
“He’s very invested in the opportunity we’ve given him,” he says.
“He’s invested a lot in his tools, he always wants to learn, and I’ve hardly ever seen him pick up his phone while he’s out on a job.
“The more people like him we have in the industry, the better.”
Any time prospective employees show they are willing to put themselves out there, to do some work experience and put in an effort, it’s a good sign, Tristan says.
“Trade business owners don’t look at resumes – we look at performance, initiative and motivation,” he says.
“You can get a good job without a resume.”
That’s just one more reason to choose Ahrns Electrical the next time you need to get some electrical work done, whether it’s at home or for your business.
They’re always on the lookout for top-notch people, and even better if they’re local.
If those are the sort of people you want working on your next project, call Ahrns Electrical today.
