Meals on Wheels volunteers recognised at AGM

Awards have been presented to a number of volunteers at the Murray Bridge branch of Meals on Wheels' annual general meeting.
Forty-two volunteers and special guest Matt Grantham, manager of people and capability from MOW SA's central office, attended the afternoon on August 3 at the Rambler Football Clubrooms.




Accepting awards for 20 years are Margaret Fry; for 10 years are Brian Leckie and Keryl Kiel; for five years are Stephen Coad, Chris Weber and Allan Warnett; and for one year are Melissa Clark, Raylene Thomas, Maggie Duell, Michelle Cook, Karen Baty, Simon Kuhlman and Gary Maton. All volunteers were thanked for their contribution to the branch over the past year, and congratulated for 56 years of Meals on Wheels in Murray Bridge.
Annual reports were presented, committee members elected and awards from one to 30 years' service presented.
A delicious afternoon tea was enjoyed by everyone and 12 lucky door prizes were given out.
