Mayor Wayne Thorley encouraged residents to attend the event.
“Our community thrives when everyone feels valued, supported and able to participate fully in life,” he said.
"This event is a wonderful celebration of inclusion, showcasing the incredible contributions of people with disability and those who work tirelessly to make our community more accessible and connected.”
The internationally recognised day promotes awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.
