Kinchina shines as one of SA’s parks of the month
The SA National Parks and Wildlife Service has placed the Murraylands' parks in the spotlight, with activities for everyone to enjoy.
This August, the parks in the Murraylands will be on full show as South Australia’s Parks of the Month.
District ranger Paul Gillen said it would be a great initiative for locals to immerse themselves in.
“There are a few different activities on in the different parks … it’ll be good for people to get out and about and experience those places,” Mr Gillen said.
“We’re hoping the outcome will be that they appreciate and value the parks more.
“We want to get people connected with locals places and back in touch with nature.”
Kinchina, Brookfield and Ngarkat Conservation Parks will be the main attractions with their various activities on offer, in addition to their usual trails.
The initiative will be run by National Parks and Wildlife Service South Australia.
