Renowned comedians Kevin Kropinyeri and Marc Ryan, also known as “the Beautiful Bogan”, will take to the stage for an exciting event called Comedy at Jervois next month.

The event, on August 16 at 7pm, will be hosted at the Jervois Institute Hall.

Mayor Wayne Thorley said he was delighted that the Murray Bridge council could bring the fantastic event to the community.

“Kevin Kropinyeri and Marc Ryan are exceptional comedians and we look forward to a night of unforgettable comedy,” he said.

Kropinyeri is a proud Aboriginal comedian with roots in the Ngarrindjeri nation of the lower River Murray, Lakes and Coorong.

He is described as an energetic and silly performer, mixing the styles of extravagant and ridiculous physical comedy with observational standup.

His unique and engaging brand of comedy is sure to bring smiles to faces as he shares his journey, culture and his life with audiences.

Marc Ryan, “the Beautiful Bogan”, has been performing comedy in Australia for the past decade.

His mission over the past four years has been to normalise the conversation around mental health using his own lived experience through comedy.

Changing one life at a time, he is not afraid of getting vulnerable and opening up if it means he can make others feel less alone.

Drinks will be available to purchase at the venue as the event will be licensed.

Tickets are limited so get in quick, and an option to purchase a return shuttle bus from Murray Bridge to Jervois is available.
