Jervois man survives crash between car, semi-trailer

A Jervois man is lucky to be alive after a road crash at Murray Bridge North on Monday night.
The 60-year-old man was critically injured when a station wagon collided with a semi-trailer at the intersection of Mannum Road and Reedy Creek Road around 9pm.
He was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital and described as being in a “serious but non-life-threatening” condition on Tuesday morning.
The wagon’s driver, a 63-year-old Jervois woman, and the truck’s driver, a 50-year-old man from Victoria, received only minor injuries.
Murray Mallee police are investigating the cause of the accident.
