How your business can survive COVID and thrive afterwards

Small business owners in the Murraylands are invited to access expert advice at a free webinar.

How your business can survive COVID and thrive afterwards

Small business owners will be able to get expert advice about surviving COVID-19 and coming out the other side at a webinar coming up.

Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman Kate Carnell, pictured, will be the featured guest on a webinar for Murraylands, Riverland and South East businesses on October 14.

The event was organised and will be hosted by federal Member for Barker Tony Pasin.

Small businesses were the backbone of Australia's economy, he said, as they employed about half the national workforce.

“I want to see Barker’s 14,600 small and family businesses not only survive through COVID but be in a strong position to thrive when we get through to the other side,” he said.

“That’s why I’ve asked the Ombudsman to join me for the online forum – (to) equip our small businesses with the knowledge and support to put them in the best possible position to do this.

“I encourage local businesses to take advantage of the free event that will explain the Ombudsman’s role and what assistance is available.”

The webinar will start at 4pm.

Business owners will be provided with a link after they RSVP.
