Interested in establishing a career in the health care industry, but not sure how to take the first step?

Next week’s Murray Bridge Health and Care Expo will provide the insight and connections you need to kick-start your career.

The event will connect employers with potential employees, hopefully to fill current vacancies in the health, aged care and disability sectors.

Due to the current demand in workers, Lerwin Aged Care manager Tammie Hamilton strongly encouraged those who were interested in the work to attend.

“The care sector is growing at a rapid rate, with a number of job opportunities opening up,” she said.

“Imagine a job where you are appreciated and respected, and can make a really huge and positive difference in someone’s life.”

It would also be an excellent networking opportunity, she said.

“This expo will provide anyone who’s interested in getting into the sector with critical and local information and will help create of the right connections,” she said.

“There will be many employers present on the day of the expo with job vacancies and training opportunities ready for the right people.”

Health care workers can look forward to advantages such as flexible working conditions, local opportunities, challenging and rewarding work, and careers of varied pathways.

The Murray Bridge Health and Care Expo will be held at Murray Bridge Town Hall next Wednesday, November 16 from 1-4pm.
