What do you want the Coorong district to look like by 2025?

Tailem Bend and Wellington residents will be asked for their views on the topic at a public meeting on Thursday night.

The Tailem Bend Football Clubrooms will be the venue for the discussion, which will start at 6.30pm.

Coorong Mayor Paul Simmons said comments gathered at the meeting – and at meetings already held at Meningie, Narrung, Peake, Tintinara and Coonalpyn – would be incorporated into the council’s strategic plan for 2021-25.

“Community engagement is a critical process that will assist council in setting the framework for local planning, development and implementation of a range of functions, activities and projects,” he said.

“We strongly encourage all of our community to get involved.

“It’s your community, your vision and your plan, and now is the time to have your say."

Numbers will be capped at the workshop due to COVID-19.

Anyone unable to attend can submit their comments online, by email or post.
