Have your say about the future of Tailem Bend’s main street
The Coorong council will use locals' responses to assist in a decision making processes about improving the town's main street.
The Coorong council is encouraging Tailem Bend locals to join a discussion about how to improve the town’s main street.
Locals are asked to complete a survey or attend a face-to-face session at the town hall next Friday night to have their say.
The council intends to use the project to identify ways to improve the quality and enjoyment of the main street, and guide it in future decision making regarding to the town’s streetscapes.
Main street features the project will likely investigate include paths, access, lighting, playgrounds, car parks public toilets, fences, furniture and signage.
The initiative is part of the council’s “streetscapes project”, which also focuses on Tintinara and Coonalpyn.
