Murray Bridge police are asking for assistance from the public to re-unite suspected stolen bikes with their rightful owners.

On June 26 patrols conducted a search of a Murray Bridge home, during which they located various suspectedly stolen items: two of these items included mountain bikes.

Three people were arrested and charged with unlawful possession, and will appear in court.

If you live in the Murray Bridge area and have recently been the victim of a bike theft, you are encouraged to contact the Murray Bridge police.

Proof of ownership such as a serial number will be required when coming forward.

Witness sought after assault in Mannum

Murray Bridge detectives are investigating an assault that occurred on Thursday June 19 at a business on Randell Street, where a victim sustained injuries.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed the event in Mannum, or who may have relevant information to come forward and assist police.
