Not-for-profit organisations and community groups in the Murraylands and Riverland are invited to attend workshops in Tailem Bend about how they can collaborate in preparation for future droughts.

The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) and the Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLF) have launched the Future Drought Fund's Communities Program, which provides funding for community social resilience to drought.

The series of workshops in Tailem Bend will explain the resources available to access.

In the workshops, you will:

  • Develop and identify shared goals and ways to collaborate with other not-for-profits and stakeholders in your community
  • Start to collaborate with the FRRR and others in your region
  • Learn about the social outcomes in the Regional Drought Resilience Plan
  • Learn about the ARLF Impact Leadership Program for your region

The first workshop will be held at 10am next Wednesday, March 31 at Tailem Bend Town Hall.
