Fourth arrest made over Oliver Todd murder
A prison inmate has been charged with the murder of a Murray Bridge man in December 2019.
Police have arrested a fourth man over the 2019 murder of Murray Bridge man Oliver Todd.
A murder charge was today levelled against the latest suspect, a 33-year-old inmate at Mount Gambier Prison.
He remained in custody after an appearance at Mount Gambier Magistrates Court today, and will face Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Also due to face court on Thursday are two of the three men previously charged over Mr Todd’s death.
Mr Todd, 47, was reported missing on December 11, 2019.
A disturbing crime scene was discovered at his home, and his body was located on a vacant block at Jervois later the same day.
Three local men had already been arrested over the death.
A 49-year-old and a 30-year-old were each arrested and charged with murder the following day; and a 41-year-old was charged with impeding an investigation and providing a false statement to police on March 26, 2020.
