Four Murraylands businesses shortlisted for 2023 SA Tourism Awards
Monarto Safari Park and three local accommodation providers have been named among the best in the South Australian industry.
Four Murraylands businesses have been shortlisted ahead of the 2023 South Australian Tourism Awards.
Monarto Safari Park was revealed as a nominee in the experiences and services category last Wednesday.
Murray Bridge’s Bridgeport Hotel was nominated in the accommodation category alongside Tailem Bend’s Big Four Holiday Park and Rydges Pit Lane Hotel.
Locals can do better than just cross their fingers and hope for a win, though – you can cast your vote for a people’s choice award.
Zoos SA encouraged anyone who had visited the safari park lately to do just that.
“We pride ourselves in going above and beyond to connect people with nature and create incredible experiences for people of all abilities, and are thrilled to be recognised as finalists,” a spokeswoman said.
Tourism Industry Council SA CEO Shaun de Bruyn said all 80 finalists had demonstrated business excellence, innovation and a commitment to giving visitors a quality experience.
State Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison congratulated all the finalists.
Award winners will be announced at a gala event in Adelaide on November 3.
