Don’t you just wish you were lazing on the River Murray right now, the water still as glass, morning mist curling around the gum trees, not another soul in sight?

That’s the life you can experience aboard Wow Factor this winter – and you’ll be able to get an exclusive preview later this month.

The luxurious houseboat will be open for inspection at Riverglen Marina, just south of Murray Bridge, on May 25-26 and June 1-2.

An RSVP is required, so email info@wowhouseboats.com.au to arrange a time.

Then come along for a drink and snack and explore her sumptuous comforts, including the eight-person spa bath, 12 berths, expansive lounge and well appointed kitchen, all with 360-degree views of the river and surrounds.

In fact, why not make a day of it?

Monarto Safari Park is offering free entry to children up to the age of 14 during May so you can check out Wow Factor, then experience one of the many attractions the Murraylands has to offer, just a short drive away.

(Terms and conditions apply for the safari park’s offer – read more at www.monartosafari.com.au.)

Alternatively, you might like to lunch at Langhorne Creek on your way down, finding a local drop to sample during this red wine weather.

Or you could visit the 1924 Riverfront Steakhouse or Bridgeport Hotel in Murray Bridge, and spend an afternoon browsing through the latest exhibition at Murray Bridge Regional Gallery.

If that’s starting to sound like too much to do in just one day … well, perhaps you’ll need to circle back to Wow Houseboats after your visit and book that winter getaway you’ve been looking forward to.

Think of it: you could be sitting around a fire on the riverbank, on heated deck chairs no less, toasting marshmallows under the stars.

If you feel like you can’t be bothered with all that tourism, you could just lie in, listen to the gentle lapping of the river against Wow Factor’s hull, and maybe play some board games, watch a movie or have a barbecue.

Whether you’re seeking relaxation, adventure or cultural enrichment, Wow Houseboats can offer it all.

Ready to book?

Dates are still available during June and July, including in the school holidays.

So step aboard Wow Factor on May 25-26 or June 1-2, experience it for yourself, and take your first step towards a wonderful winter.
