Drink driver loses his licence and four-wheel drive
Plus SA Police catch an alleged thief red-handed in Murray Bridge and deploy speed cameras around the Murraylands.

A Murray Bridge man has lost his licence for a year and his Nissan Pathfinder for 28 days after being reported for alleged drink driving on Friday night.
Police breath-tested the 57-year-old on Monash Terrace around 2am on Saturday.
He allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.227, more than four times the legal limit.
He will face court over the matter.
Also caught out this week were:
- A 43-year-old Murray Bridge man for alleged drug driving on Adelaide Road just before 12pm on Friday; he lost his licence for three months
- A 32-year-old Murray Bridge man in a Holden sedan for alleged drug driving on Swanport Road around 3.15pm on Friday; he was given a driver direction notice
- A 41-year-old L-plater from Murray Bridge driving a Holden four-wheel drive on Best Street; he lost his licence for three months for allegedly being on drugs and having an expired licence; police also allege that they found a prohibited weapon in the car
- A 54-year-old Monash man for alleged drug driving on Tobruk Terrace, Murray Bridge around 3.45pm on Saturday; he lost his licence for three months
- A 72-year-old Morgan man in a Holden sedan for alleged drink driving on Seventh Street, Murray Bridge at 5.15pm on Saturday; he lost his licence for six months after allegedly blowing 0.084
- A 34-year-old White Hill woman in a Toyota four-wheel drive for alleged drink driving on Adelaide Road around 4.20pm on Sunday; she received a fine after allegedly blowing 0.052, just over the legal limit
Car thief arrested
Meanwhile, police have caught an alleged thief in the act of breaking into several cars in Murray Bridge.
A member of the public called police around 1am on Friday after hearing glass being broken at the southern end of the city, near Swanport and Hindmarsh Roads.
Police located a 26-year-old Murray Bridge man in the area, allegedly holding a rock and several items they believed had been stolen.
Three cars nearby had broken windows.
The man initially ran from police, but was found hiding in bushes nearby with a stash of more allegedly stolen gear.
Officers charged him with three counts of interference with a motor vehicle, theft, property damage and hindering police, and denied him bail ahead of an appearance at Murray Bridge Magistrates Court later that day.
SA Police urge anyone who finds damage to their vehicle or property to report it by calling 131 444.
