Plus a car fire at Murray Bridge East, vandalism at Fraser Park PS, a B-double defected and this week's speed camera locations.
A motorist who was allegedly drink driving at 180 kilometres per hour has been pulled over in Murray Bridge.
Police spotted a Mitsubishi ute speeding along the South Eastern Freeway at Mount Barker Summit just after 5pm on Friday.
They finally pulled it over on Old Swanport Road at Murray Bridge.
When they breath-tested its driver, a 48-year-old Oakden man, he allegedly blew 0.129, more than double the legal blood alcohol limit.
They charged him with two aggravated counts of speeding and one each of drink driving, driving while suspended and resisting arrest.
He was released on bail ahead of a court date in Murray Bridge, but had his ute impounded for 28 days.
A motorist is lucky to be alive after a Mazda burst into flames on Murray Bridge’s east side on Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the Old Princes Highway at Murray Bridge East, near Moore Street, at 9.40am after the car caught on fire.
Paramedics were also called to help an older woman who reportedly inhaled smoke at the scene.

Truck defected, driver drug tested at Sherlock
A truck driver may face charges after police defected his B-double on the Mallee Highway on Monday.
Officers responded to a report of the truck barrelling through Peake, overtaking cars and other trucks in the township.
When they stopped it at Sherlock, they drug tested the driver, a 41-year-old from Parafield Gardens.
He allegedly returned a positive test for methamphetamine.
They then inspected the truck, and allegedly found bald tyres, leaky air brakes and a non-compliant speed limiter on the prime mover; plus structural cracks and braking problems in each of his two tipper trailers.
Police also allege that the driver had not entered any information into his work diary for at least a week, despite having travelled interstate.
They instructed him to have the truck taken to a repairer immediately.
