An appropriately named ex-Murray Bridge resident has taken the prize in Murray Bridge News’ 2021 reader survey.

Mal Victory won a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, courtesy of Murray Computers, when his name was drawn at random from among hundreds of survey respondents on Tuesday afternoon.

He will also receive a 12-month subscription to Murray Bridge News, giving him access to stories behind the paywall.

Upon receiving the news, Mr Victory and his wife Monica promptly hopped in their car and drove from out past Port Adelaide to come and pick up his prize.

Mr Victory said he read Murray Bridge News because it was important for residents and anyone interested in the community to know what was happening locally.
