Dog unit visits Murray Bridge

Finally, police have held two public engagement events in Murray Bridge over the past fortnight.

An officer from SA Police’s dog operations unit attended a Coffee with a Cop event at Murray Bridge Marketplace on March 3, allowing members of the public to learn about four-legged Amber and her job catching criminals.

Crime Stoppers SA also presented a pop-up information stand at Murray Bridge Green on the same day.

Crime Stoppers reminded locals that information could be provided anonymously, and that informants might not ever need to go to court, even if a person were prosecuted.

The next Coffee with a Cop event at the Marketplace will be with SAPOL’s mounted operations unit on May 5.
