Car tyre slashers arrested in Murray Bridge
Police have made three arrests over the vandalism of at least 13 cars on Owl Drive and surrounding streets Monday morning.

Police have arrested the vandals who allegedly slashed at least 13 cars’ tyres in Murray Bridge’s south earlier this week.
A patrol spotted two people acting suspiciously on Owl Drive around half past midnight on Thursday morning.
A third approached while police were talking to them.
The officers searched all three and allegedly found knives on each of them.
Each of the trio was arrested, taken to the Murray Bridge police station and charged with 23 counts of property damage and two counts of carrying an offensive weapon.
The 21-year-old man from Murray Bridge, 23-year-old man from Strathalbyn and 23-year-old woman from Strathalbyn were then released on bail ahead of a court appearance on November 7.
Just before 2am on Monday, officers on patrol had noticed a car with three flat tyres on Owl Drive.
Their suspicions aroused, they had a look around some of the surrounding streets and found 13 cars with their tyres either slashed or deflated.
Demi Miller was among the locals who had a nasty surprise when she got up on Monday morning.
Her partner couldn’t get to work because three of the tyres on their Toyota four-wheel drive had been deflated.
“I’m just really disappointed,” she said.
“It’s a bit of a low blow.”
As well as risking lost income, her family would have to replace the damaged tyres – “tyres aren’t cheap”.
