Can Ryan Jones win this year's Battle of the Bridge again?
Murray Bridge Speedway will hold the annual Battle of the Bridge this weekend with many strong competitors wanting top spot.

This Saturday night, Murray Bridge Speedway will host the traditional Sprintcar season opener.
This of course includes the annual Bill Wigzell Battle of the Bridge, with a strong 28 nomination list.
Among them is local racer Ryan Jones, who over the years has made a habit of winning the South Australian season opener.
In addition to claiming the event last year, Mr Jones won the “Wigzell Race” on two previous occasions.
He has also come close to two further victories with runner-up finishes in 2022 and 2021.
Mr Jones said he likes to call the first major event Bill's race.
"Bill’s heritage was built on being part of the first professional Sprintcar team to come out of Murray Bridge.
"I’m both fortunate and thankful to be in a position to drive for a famous Murray Bridge and Speedway family in the Wright’s, who have also built a professional Sprintcar team here."
As a bonus we've on three of Bill’s races and would love to add a fourth this Saturday," he said.

When asked about the depth of the field that has nominated for this weekend, that includes three previous Australian 410ci Sprintcar Champions, Mr Jones had a very straight up response.
“It’s like that weekly now... everyone has good gear; good crew guys and they are all good drivers... if you are a tenth off it’s a long night,” he said.
Following the Bill Wigzell Battle of the Bridge on Saturday the Sprintcar action will continue on Sunday Night with the Australian Sprintcar Stampede.
A $10,000 cheque for first place in the A-main is on offer and over $35,000 in total prize payout.
Amongst the entries for the weekend are the likes of Matt Egel, Jock Goodyer, Jamie Veal, Tate Frost, Jordyn Charge, Marcus Dumesny and Brock Hallett.
Ryan Newton will also be amongst them making the big drive down from Queensland.
Night one action also features the Formula 500s King of the Bridge, with Junior Formula 500s competing in the inaugural ‘Prince of the Bridge’.
Speedcars will contest Round one of the Blackjack Series on Night two, along with the car crushing Demolition Derby.
Gates will be open from 4pm for on track action at 6pm.
