More than 30 community members have attended a public meeting at the Little Church in Callington on March 7 to discuss the future of the historic building.

Ideas were shared for potential community uses including history, culture, art, wellness and community gatherings.

The meeting concluded with a unanimous show of hands to proceed with the Save the Little Church project.

Afternoon tea following the meeting was generously sponsored by Carole and Simon from the Callington General Store.

Organisers will now begin exploring options with the community and relevant stakeholders to secure a future for the Little Church.

The last church service at St Peter’s Lutheran was held on May 25, 2025.
