Burst water main stops traffic on Adelaide Road, Murray Bridge
SA Water is responding to the emergency.
A burst water main has caused traffic chaos on one of Murray Bridge’s main roads on Sunday morning.
A pipe burst beneath Adelaide Road, near the Maurice Road traffic lights, around 9.30am, and began spraying water towards nearby businesses.
Emergency services were quickly alerted.
SA Water was made aware of the break by 9.40am and promised to arrange a team to fix it.
The road reopened around 12.30pm.
