More than 200 people have filtered through Murray Bridge's town hall for two cabaret shows with the ladies from Bridge Burlesque.
The event, which sold out in under two weeks, aimed to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The group exceeded its goal of $10,000, with over $16,000 raised.
Bridge Burlesque founder, director and choreographer Rhianna Leyland said the shows couldn't have gone any better.
"There was so much love and support not only from the crowd but also backstage, from family and friends," she said.
"The atmosphere was incredible, the girls were super nervous and then they did rehearsal and you could see their confidence building as the night went on."
Jenna Hann from the Power of Dance offered her stage managing skills and expertise.
Ms Leyland was left gobsmacked by her work ethic and attitude to the girls throughout the whole event.
"It couldn't have run any smoother," she said.
"The feedback from the community was amazing.
"It was an emotional roller coaster ... from having the whole audience in tears for one particular performance to laughs by a more light-hearted piece."
For most of the ladies it was their first performance, and a lot had never danced previously.
Since the company's creation in 2021, Bridge Burlesque has been dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research and awareness.
It isn't just about entertainment; it's a platform for empowerment and support for women from all walks of life.
Its aim is to create an inclusive community, giving participants a chance to express themselves through dance.
Anyone and everyone is welcome: daughters, mothers and grandmothers of all ages.
"They're all real women with real bodies and real lives," Ms Leyland said.
