Bombay Beat named a finalist at 2021 SA restaurant and catering awards
Murray Bridge's newest Indian restaurant is in the running to be named the best in the state.
A Murray Bridge Indian restaurant has been named a finalist for a major industry award less than a year after opening its doors.
Bombay Beat, on Bridge Street, is one of eight establishments in the running to be named South Australia’s best Indian restaurant at the 2021 Restaurant and Catering Australia awards for excellence.
It was the only Murraylands eatery nominated in any category – a fair effort, considering that proprietor Jitender Soodan and his family only opened its doors in January.
Award winners will be announced at an event to be held on Monday evening.
Restaurant and Catering Australia is the peak body representing that industry, with almost 50,000 members nationwide.
