Body in Murray Bridge identified as missing man
A month-long search for a Victorian man has had a sad ending.
A body found in Murray Bridge last week has been identified as that of a man who had been reported missing a month earlier.
The 35-year-old Victorian man, David, had last been seen alive on Swanport Road on September 25.
Police knocked on doors and State Emergency Service volunteers scoured the River Murray in their efforts to find him, or uncover information about his whereabouts.
That search ended with the discovery of his body at a rural property on Ridge Road last Wednesday evening.
There were no suspicious circumstances around the death.
Police thanked the public for their assistance with the search.
Officers will prepare a report for the coroner.
