Ahrns Electrical are officially the Murraylands’ best tradies – here’s why
The Murray Bridge company has been recognised at the 2025 Murraylands Business Awards after three years of rapid growth.

This sponsored story is brought to you by CW Products, sponsors of the Murraylands Business Awards; and Ahrns Electrical.
In just three short years, Tristan Ahrns’ business has gone from strength to strength.
The former solo sparky now leads a team of nine which services commercial, industrial, domestic and agricultural clients around the Murraylands.
Their high quality service and quick response times have earned them a great reputation in the community.
It’s why Ahrns Electrical were named the region’s best tradies at last month’s Murraylands Business Awards.
More than 700 locals picked them from among five finalists in a popular vote.
“It’s so cool to have that recognition,” Tristan says.
“It means that what we are doing, people are appreciating it, and we are doing something right in the community.
“I’ve had so many people come up to me in the street, or ring up, email me or just (message) on Facebook saying ‘congrats’.”
What has been the secret to Ahrns’ success?
Two things have been key, Tristan says.
Personally, he has focused on developing as a business owner, getting off the tools and into the nuts and bolts of management.
But the greatest reason for his company’s success has been its staff: people who fit into their roles on the team and do their jobs well.
They include:
- Admin assistant Kara Boyle, who acts as a first point of contact for customers and schedules jobs
- Ebony Lloyd, who handles accounts, HR and social media
- Senior tradesman and solar power expert Jason Allen
- Gun tradesmen Sam Elliott, Jackson Boundy and Isaac Peckover
- Legendary apprentices Danny Ashton and Allan Edwards
- Thais Ahrns, who is no longer closely involved day-to-day but plays an important support role
